Sunday Sermons and Fantasy Fervor: Week 5 Recap from the Melissa Leagues

Week 5 brought scoreboard glory, humble recoveries and the kind of good-natured ribbing that keeps church-league rivalries warm. The Prevenient Defense of Melissa edged out the Wesleyan Wideouts of Melissa in total scoring by about 30 points, but both leagues served up top-end fireworks and a few folks needing extra pews for their pride. Playful pats on the back and gentle jabs all around — nobody’s getting excommunicated, just motivated.
